When asked what his earliest memory of Hip Hop is Gil answered, “Probably being at a cookout when I was a kid, hearing “Looking at the Front Door” by Main Source, banging out the speakers! I swear that beat alone could be the backdrop to a lot of moments from my childhood. As for my recent favorite moment, probably the battle between Drake and Kendrick. I loved the back and forth of it all. That few months, when all those songs were dropping, had the planet in a chokehold!”
