As she listened to old records with her grandmother, Leticia Soul notes that she was a huge part in the development of her love for music. Leticia reminisced, “She literally left the radio playing in her room at all times, day and night.” Due to the large impact this had on Leticia, she began singing in the church choir at the early age of 6.
Soon after she was introduced to the spotlight, Leticia found interest in performing at local shows, events, and contests. The crowds have always loved her mesmerizing stage presence; leaving each venue in awe of her talent. She has blessed stages in Washington D.C., Maryland, North Carolina, Florida, California, and Arizona. Additionally, Leticia has auditioned for famous shows such as American Idol and The Voice! For the past six years, she has worked diligently on building her brand as a music artist. She expressed, “I have always envisioned myself opening for Jill Scott before starting my own tour.” At the rate Leticia is working, she will be living that dream in no time!
“Just Go” was Leticia Soul’s first single released in 2015. The track was produced by William Bowser. The official music video for the track was unveiled to the world on Roku TV in February 2020 and later on YouTube. As Leticia’s aspirations came into fruition, she suffered an immense loss in her family and made the decision to take time off to focus on replenishing her mental health. For music lovers, coming back to creativeness is inevitable and Leticia soon found herself writing songs again. “Now or Never” is Leticia’s last and most recent project which has continued to captivate listeners far and wide. She yearns for her message to reach her supporters, “Fear is an illusion. You have to focus on all that you can do in your current moment. Don’t spend too much time trying to figure it all out or worry about what’s ahead because you may miss your opportunity, just go for it, it’s either now or never.”
As an established, independent artist Leticia Soul looks forward to unveiling new music! The lead single off her upcoming album, “Round 2,”is scheduled to be released at the end of the summer with date to be announced in the upcoming weeks! The gifted artist states, “It shows a more sensual side of me and as a Virgo, we all know I have many sides.”
During our interview, Leticia Soul mentioned that her upcoming album will give off “no skip energy” and will be like nothing she has ever done. When asked what her secret to success is, Leticia answered,“My secret to success was finally getting tired of repeating the same cycles. I got to a place where I realized I was the only thing that ever stood in my own way. Once I really did my soul work and started my journey of self-love and self-mastery everything changed for me. I’ve learned that operating from your heart space and being in tune with yourself is key. It’s helped me to trust my own intuition and move past mental blocks and everyday obstacles I never thought I could.”
