Chicago-Based rapper, M3LO Capone is seeking revenge in his latest track, “Vindictive”, a song that expresses how he’s coming back for everything he was once deprived of. He’s made it out the trenches and is letting everyone know it’s his time now.
The raw and uncut track off his most recent mixtape, “All Gas, No Breaks” is lyrically unapologetic as he speaks his mind on what he’s been through and what he’s lost along the way. Capone’s story is typical to what many fave living in the cold streets of Chi town.
The rising rap artist dropped the track along with visuals to show and prove that he is ready to go up next this year. M3lo Capone is a living testament of how rough it can be in the streets of Chicago. Raised in the southside of Englewood, Capone has endured some of the most hardest life experiences, from losing a close friend to the epidemic of senseless violence, to crooked police systems, to being a victim of burglary.
In his latest track, “Vindictive” along with intense visuals, M3LO Capone expresses how its his turn to get back what was taken from him.
Since very young, Capone has believed that he’s got what it takes to be a voice in the streets. The start of his career began on a school bus ride to a field trip when he first took his pen to paper and started to write his own bars. It was and still is considered to be a therapeutic way to release his emotions. From that moment, M3LO discovered his passion for becoming a rap legend in the making. Lyrically, the rising rap star finds an outlet to exercise his versatility as a talented creator within the rap game.
Having gone through tough situations for years as a young boy, the rising rap star has found a way to translate his thoughts and motions to hardcore street tracks that are relatable to those who know what he’s talking about. His ultimate goal is to get others to relate to his story and be motivated to get out of the trenches and make a name for themselves. Capone tells us, “ I plan to connect with people everywhere and have longevity when it comes to this game, having a career that pays well and will open the doors for other lanes in life.”
It’s a win-win to profit off of it and inspire his listeners to be better for themselves and to those around him.
Choosing a name that is compared to Miami’s kingpin, Al Capone, M3LO describes himself as wanting to become a better person no matter what it takes. He says, “Al Capone rose to the top of the world using little to nothing. Just his connections and Determination to better his life. I’ve always looked up to that and kept that mindset with everything I want to achieve in life. It motivated me to never give up, work hard and meet the right people you will win even if the odds look like they are against you.”
His latest mixtape, “All Gas, No Breaks” is a current project he continues to work on, hoping to add more visual content to accompany the tracks.
