Will.i.am and Britney Spears have collaborated for the first time in a decade on new song, “Mind Your Business”. The two music icons are know for four collaborations; the last one being, “Scream & Shout”. The 2012 track reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Songs chart. With 3 million copies sold in the U.S., the hot single is certified triple platinum.
Following the termination of her court-mandated conservatorship, Spears is making her way back into the spotlight musically. Will.i.am has been vocal about his support for her as he expressed to CBS Mornings this week, “I’ve been a fan, friend and supporter of Britney throughout the years. Supporter as far as a person that goes out and listens to her music — a support as far as somebody that’s there to help champion her through her times when she was fighting for her liberation. She is an amazing person.”
In addition to new music, Britney will be releasing her memoir, “The Woman in Me” on October 24th via Gallery Books. It appears she has been hard at work. Her fans have displayed their support and hope for the pop sensation as she continues along her journey of freedom and new endeavors.
